Redoing is one of the most annoying things about painting but sometimes it’s really needed.

20 - Rose that never wilts

Even though the theme of the painting is simple and not so much complex, my goal was mainly to blend the colors together. You won’t believe how hard it is. Aside from my obsession with punctilious, it seriously took hours, and I used a little bit more amount of colors than usual to achieve this result.

But I’m more than happy that everything ended well 🙂 It’s far beyond my expectations. What amazes me most is the lighting, and how the flower and the leaves are almost alive. Just the shapes could be more asymmetrical because such perfectness doesn’t exist in nature.

And one more thing that I love. The name of the painting is connected to you. Do you ask how?…

The riddle is not so hard… 😉
